To start off Two Thousand and Eleven, Drew and I joined up with my sisters Cali and Alyssa and their husbands Brett and Kellen and enjoyed us a fun filled night at Fat Cats! We rented out a alley and bowled the night away! the bumper cars were the best! and the mini golf wasnt bad either! it was so much fun!
We celebrated 12 o'clock at Lyss and Kell's House with sparkling cider and New Year's Rockin' Eve! :) so glad we got to spend so much time with them and start off the new year with a party!

Tis' The Season

Our first christmas together (or first christmases together):

We decided to spend our first christmas with my family in Utah and since andrew's parents live in Bozeman, we were able to have early christmases with both his mom and micheal and his dad and zack! it was so fun to spend a holiday mixing traditions. Mom and michael got us a board game (boxers or briefs) and a very nice digital picture frame. Dad and Zack got us a blu-ray player which we love.

We spent two full weeks in Utah with my family which was the best. I hadn't seen most of my family since the wedding and that's just way too long. But i was way excited to share my traditions with Drew. Christmas has always been my favorite. Baking, eating, caroling, giving, and laughing. I was so glad to have andrew with me and my family for all of it!

honeymoon

We started our trip in Vegas... We stayed in Excalibur and spend a whole day roaming the city from one end to the other. The wax museum had to be the best part of Vegas. We had so much fun taking pictures of all the famous people that we met. we left the hotel around eleven and by the time we got to the stratosphere, it was ten at night! we were so hot and tired and walking back seemed way too far, but we finally made it.

Our next stop was Anaheim, CA where we spent a couple days at Disneyland. Andrew had never been before so i showed him all the best rides. I wasn't too surprised when his favorite was my

favorite too. Space Mountain. :) We got just married pins and everyone that worked there was super nice. We even got our own It's A Small World Cruise :) We had so much fun!

From there it wasn't too far to Aunt Joji and Uncle Rick's place, so we spent a lot of time with them. We spent the fourth of July watching the Queen Mary's Firework show right there on the beach a couple blocks from their house. It is such a blessing to have such loving a loving family. We were able to hear so many stories about Rick's life in Brasil and about my sweet Nana. Auntie Joji took great care of us and packed us with extra goodies for our cruise.

The cruise!! Neither of us had ever been on one and we had the time of our lives! the ship was huge and the food was amazing! We had fun playing mini golf and attending the night time shows. We stopped in Catalina and went on a kayaking excursion! It was beautiful! I enjoyed all of the creatures and the sea lions that swam around us. We also stopped in Ensenada where we

visited La Boufadora and shopped til we dropped!

It was so fun, the whole trip, but after two weeks we were excited to get back to real life as a happily married couple :)

For All Eternity

Romance

This last weekend was a very good one :) Drew took me to big sky on saturday night for a surprise that i've been impatiently waiting for since valentine's day. We went on a sleigh ride up to a nice cabin and had an amazing dinner. the entertainer was awesome! he is a local guy that loves to sing about montana and food haha! he had a beautiful voice. after dinner we snuggled back up in the sleigh and rode back down. it was truly romantic and so much fun :) i am so excited for all the romantic times to come! :)

weekend with mommy!

weekend with mommy was so much fun and extremely needed. when i'm this far from home, it's always a breath of fresh air to see family and feel their love.

we had a great time just relaxing, watching the Olympics and talking a lot of wedding plans. :) mom spent most of friday with drew seeing as i had classes and practice. i'm really glad that they got that time to get to know each other.

we went and checked out student housing and we definitely found a good one for us! i am so excited! we applied and everything now we just have to wait and see how things play out. i am so glad that mom was there to give her opinion and advice. i'm always a bit more comfortable with my decisions when she's around that's for sure.

saturday was just me and mom. we went to randi's baptism which was absolutely amazing. i'm so happy that mom got a little taste of how the u ward works and how amazing the missionary experiences are here in montana. :)

mom helped us plan out our honeymoon trip which made a lot more sense her way than my way. haha! again with the decision making.... always better when mom is involved.

we had german pancakes sunday morning and played a game of oh heck before she left for utah. it was sad to see her go, but i will see her soon for spring break.

well my mom is coming to bozeman today to spend the weekend with me and drew. :) i am so excited! i miss her so much and it's so hard to be so far away. but she will be here til sunday! we are going to do a lot i'm hoping. she is gonna meet all of drew's family which isexciting! and she's gonna help us look at places to live :) the best part is that she is all mine for a whole three days! :)
